On Thursday, the 29th of June 2023, we (Moto Hope Capital) were represented by our Managing Director, Mr. Vincent Njuguna Kiarie at the PrivABoo in-person kick-off meeting in Naivasha, Kenya.
This comes after Moto Hope Capital was selected to participate in this year’s Private Adaptation Investment Boot camp – PrivABoo SME Core Group, for its business solutions that help others adapt to the impacts of climate change or build resilience.
Moto Hope Capital was among five other selected companies from Kenya and Rwanda at this kick-off meeting where the peer learning program and important aspects of the Bootcamp were introduced as well as an introduction to the topic ‘Business and Investment Opportunities in Climate Change Adaptation & Resilience’.
We also had the opportunity to meet and network with SMEs from the current PrivABoo cohort (the 1st SME Core Group).
We have set off on a wonderful journey and we are excited for all that is in store for us!
Note: The Private Adaptation Investment Bootcamp (PrivABoo) – implemented by the German aid agency GIZ – supports growth-stage small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with adaptation and resilience solutions to raise capital and investment for entry into new markets or market segments and to scale-up for maximum development and climate change adaptation impacts.
