To promote clean energy use, we collaborate with like-minded individuals and companies to scale impact, especially in climate-vulnerable and off-grid communities.

Last Friday (28th June 2024), we were thrilled to host amazing teams from Koolboks and Deevabits Green Energy, both key players in the solar energy space. We extensively discussed more ways and better cooperation towards building more prosperous, inclusive, and resilient communities in Kenya through accessible, affordable clean energy.

We are working with Deevabits through Moto Hope Capital’s Receivables financing for PAYGO SMEs in Climate Action. Hence, contributing towards job creation for women and youth to distribute solar-powered products within their communities and provide consumer financing, enabling access and affordability.

We are excited about our newest partnership with Koolboks whom we are working with to finance solar-powered fridges, making eco-friendly refrigeration accessible and affordable to everyone. Koolboks Freezers keep things kool whether or not there is power, eliminating fuel costs and saving money on energy bills.

Working with Deevabits and Koolboks is going a long way in ensuring sustainability through affordable and clean energy (SDG7) and climate action (SDG 13).

Worth noting is the fact that the people at the forefront of these impactful collaborations; Moto Hope Capital’s Co-founder and CEO, Vincent Njuguna Kiarie, David Wanjau Founder & CEO Deevabits, and Natalie Casey Chief Business Officer at Koolboks, are all alumni of Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship.
